A Letter from Jade
Editor’s Note: Welcome to the Magazine
There is an invisible pressure to parent “correctly”, to have the right toys, the right schedule, and the perfect aesthetic.
We’d like to opt out of that.
Instead, we choose presence over perfection.
We are not educators or psychologists; we’re just caregivers navigating the same challenges you are. Sometimes that looks like a beautifully curated sensory bin, and sometimes it looks like surviving until bedtime. Both are valid here.
Think of this as a collection of field notes from the trenches of parenting. Some practical ideas, some honest stories, and a reminder that doing the best you can with what you have is enough.
I don’t want that. I want creativity to feel accessible again. I want moms to know they can make something beautiful with what they already have: time, care, scraps of colour, and a bit of chaos.
Welcome to the magazine.
